Indoors Day.......

For Bex my button stash....
____________________________________
It's been too cold to venture out today, we've even had a bit of snow for a while this afternoon and more snow is forecast overnight. My cold has freshened up again today, and I've still got a bad cough. Am I ever going to be free of this lurgy? I've been poorly since the beginning of November and just can't seem to shift it. I think working with children has got something to do with it. So I had a bath this morning but couldn't be bothered to wash my hair it can wait until tomorrow, I've not applied a scrap of makeup and I've worn my old comfy clothes all day. I've spent a fair bit of time on the pooter and the rest of the time sewing with my Merlin DVD on. I've made these today and a few other bits for the giveaway. Bekimarie, I will be posting your goodies tomorrow, so keep an eye out for the Postie.
I went back onto the CK website to check out the bags again, and it appears that the messenger bag is unavailable at the moment, so I ordered myself the bucket bag. I guess the other one being out of stock made my mind up for me. Although, when I say ordered, I think I've ordered it. I had no confirmation e-mail like I normally do, so I e-mailed them today and I'm waiting for them to get back to me. I'm also STILL WAITING for the Laura Ashley fabric I ordered over a week ago. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow, I will be chasing that up as well, I need it to make some bunting. :o(

I'm sitting here thinking oh bu**er its Monday tomorrow, and the weekends flown by and I really don't want to go to work tomorrow :o(. I'd love a few months off to get the house looking how I want it and to make all the crafts that are whizzing around my head constantly. I find myself saying, ''where does the time go'' and ''it only felt like yesterday'' and ''blimey that time already'', an awful lot lately. Is this the same for everyone or is it just me?
As I don't have many pics to show you today, I thought I'd finish with a picture of our dinner, (like you do), Tuna Pasta Bake. We haven't had this in ages and it was scrummy.

Hope I haven't bored you to death. (((((hugs)))) Pixiedust xxxx

Hi Pixiedust

Of course you haven't bored us to death!!! Love your button collection, very pink and pretty. I hope the bag order went through, the bucket one was definitely my favourite one. Love the fabric you've used on your purses (???), they look gorgeous.

It was freezing today, we were planning a bike ride but decided to drive down to the seafront instead, we stayed in the car and had sandwiches and hot chocolate. I think that if you are around kids you probably will keep having colds and coughs, they are germ ridden little things!!!!!!!! x

The weekend has flown by. I don't even remember it arriving! I can't shift my cold and have a sore throat for the third week running. It's snowing outside and I don't want it now! I want to see the spring!!! Thanks for showing your tuna pasta bake. It has given me an idea of a dish to cook this week! I hope that you feel better soon.

That pasta bake sure looks scrummy!!
Those little purses are really lovely! Are they from 'Sew Pretty Homestyle'? I have that book, & after seeing yours I am well & truly inspired to make some!!
As for the 'Lurgy', I started it on Tuesday, feel a lot better now, but it really takes it out of you in a big way, my son has it now!
You certainly aren't boring, the post is great, and I hope you feel better quickly!!

I'm pleased to report I have a snow day today so thankfully haven't had to go into work!

Should really put my laptop down and make use of the extra day off to get some chores done.
