Yummy.......edited

It's definitely a good post week this week. The lovely Anita sent me this yummy giant chocolate heart hobnob that she'd made today as a Thank you. Anita is getting married in a few months time and I lent her my garter for her something borrowed and blue. Bless you sweetie, I really didn't expect anything in return, its just nice to help.

I've eaten nearly half already, but it was spotted by some strange brown and white hairy critter with long wavy ears, AAAAAGGGGGHHHH, what could it be????????

Can you guess who it is yet?

Well I had to share a bit with my little man didn't I. Woody loves hobnobs.

I did dunk a bit in my tea, it just has to be done, don't you think? I wonder if the queen dunks????
EDIT
I've added a biscuit dunking poll on my sidebar for a laugh. xxx

A Great Christmas......

Well we had a great Christmas here. Christmas day was a success, all went well. It was the first year I've hosted Christmas, and my parents and my brother and his girlfriend came to dinner. We ate, drank and made merry. Its the first proper dinner I've eaten in ages, as I haven't been very well of late, due to sickness bugs and flu, which I'm still getting over, that's why the blogging has lapsed. I got some great Christmas gifts. Hubby got me the Merlin TV series on DVD which I love and the latest enya CD, bliss.
Also from hubby was this soft and squidgy hot water bottle cover, and these cow wheatie slippers which you heat in the microwave and they contain essential oils.

This little sign was from my sister in law, very apt I thought.

Woody has been on fridge patrol guarding the turkey.

Here's a pic of the Christmas table. The dining room really did look lovely.

I've also been busy making another sheep, which was an order for a Christmas pressie. Its the towelling one.

She took a while but I was pleased with how she turned out.
So all in all a really enjoyable Christmas, drank too much and have enough chocolate to open a shop but I'm sure it will keep.
Hope you all had a good one. xxxx

A bit of a wash out.....

Well I didn't get to go to Winchester Christmas market today in the end :o(, but hubby's gonna take me tomorrow instead :o). I sorted my mum's shopping out this morning and took her to the bank, then took myself off to my favourite shop Cheselpeake Mill, where I got a couple of Christmas presents and a little vintage shabby sheep pictured below. I also made these cute little Christmas wreath tree decorations, which I will be putting in my blog shop in a minute.
Here's the cute little sheep I got, I'm not sure what make he is as he has no button in his ear or tags, but looks like he once had a tag by his bottom.

His nose needs repairing, so I may ask my sister in law to do it as shes the bear expert.

He looked so lonely sat on his own in a chair, so he happened to just jump in the basket when I wasn't looking!
Off to our friends to dinner shortly, so catch up tomorrow.

Update, I've also made my first sale on my blog shop, I'm so chuffed, thanks Hen. xxxx
