Another Year Older.....

I can't believe I haven't done a blog post since June! I really don't know where this year has gone, it just seems to be flying by. I have had a busy summer and have lots of pics to share with you all, from our holiday, camping trips, jam and chutney making, swaps received etc, but can't possibly put it all in one post, so I'll just show you some pics of flowers and cakes instead.
I turned 30 last week :o(, which I had been dreading for ages but my lovely hubby and my brothers girlfriend arranged a surprise party for me, which was lovely. I received lots of flowers, champagne, a pamper voucher, and lots of other lovelies. My brother took me out for the day, so I wouldn't suspect what was going on. We visited the pack-house in Farnham, and the cath kidston outlet in Bicester and were out for 7 hours! I'll show you my purchases another day. Thought I'd put my feet up when I got home, but nope the house had been taken over by family and friends shouting surprise at me!
My Sister in law made these gorgeous cakes, they were so pretty it was a shame to eat them, but we didn't take too much persuading, all gone now.
A great time was had by all, and I had a sore head the next day.

Well just a short and sweet post I'm afraid, to get me back into the swing of things. Hope everyone is well and had a great summer.

Flowers and a Sneaky Peek.......

Hello Peeps, just a short post today. I just wanted to show you the lovely blue hyacinths my mother in law bought for me today. Aren't they pretty? My lovely pink hyacinths were looking a bit droopy in their pot, so I added these to the blue ones. I wish I smellanet, they have the most gorgeous scent.

I love this little magnet, it describes me to a tea!

And these beautiful tulips were a gift from my next door neighbour to cheer me up........and they did, who wouldn't be cheered by such pretty colours.

Now remember how excited I was in my last post as I was awaiting arrival of my new Tilda book? Well it arrived this morning, so I thought I'd treat you all to a sneaky peek...............(sorry pics aren't that brilliant)

I'm loving the bumblebees.

the flowers in pots............

who would have thought a frog would be so cute.........perhaps if I kissed one, he'd turn into a handsome prince, or Robert Pattinson :o)

I've made a couple of snails already, but think this one with the cart is adorable.

More bunnies!

stunning signs..................

More bumbly bees, I'm REALLY loving these cute little fellers.
Hope you enjoyed that sneaky peek. Now as a lot of you will already know I'm running a little giveaway, so if you haven't entered and you'd like you name put in the hat, please have a look at my last post and leave a comment.
Well that's it for now, must go and wash up.

I'm still alive......

Hello folks. Sorry for my serious lack of posts this past week or so. I've been spending my blogging time walking with the dog in an attempt to loose weight and get fit. The weather has been lovely and we've had some lovely walks, all of which I forgot to take the camera on. Thanks for all the tips on getting rid of my hiccups. You'll be pleased to know that I did go to bed that night hiccup free.
I have some new bed linen, sadly cannot afford CK or LA at the moment, but thought this set was lovely, it's from the Tesco Direct catalogue and at £11.74 for a king size set a bargain too.

And while out buying some mothers day flowers on Saturday I bought a £2 bunch for me too, aren't they pretty?
I've also been busy finishing a Tilda swap which I will be posting today, then I can put some serious effort into my Easter/spring swap parcels.
How's everyone else getting on with their swaps? Does anyone have theirs yet?
Take Care. xxxx Pixie xxxx

Rainy Day......

Its absolutely freezin here, and dark and its raining effelumps and woozles again. Bloomin Weather.
I went to get my MIL some flowers yesterday as she's very poorly at the moment and hubby gave me some money to buy some flowers for myself too. Aren't they pretty. The lily's smell lovely.
Look at my daft dog. He didn't realise for ages this morning that hubby had put his duck on his back.

Didn't get a single trick or treater last night :o(, never mind more sweets for us. Need to get some sewing done this afternoon, so will be off to do that in a mo. Have a nice afternoon folks.
