TA DAH..........

Whilst I was out taking mum shopping today, my Cath Kidston bag arrived. Whoopee, I'm so chuffed, Can't decide whether to take it to work today. Its bucketing down and I wouldn't want to ruin it. I've never had a Cath K bag before, so its a new treasured possession. Even the packaging it arrived in is pretty. But the samples I ordered at the same time weren't in the parcel, so if they don't arrive shortly I will have to phone and get them to re-send.
I went on a magical mystery tour to the New Forest yesterday with my friend. We stopped in Lyndhurst to start with and found there to be a flea market on in the hall in the car park. Had to take a look, it would be rude not to. I came across a lovely stall with a couple selling vintage brooches and clip earrings and they had loads. I've never seen so many pretty brooches in one place, and really cheap too, much better than the prices of them on eBay. So with ideas of making bags and accessorising outfits I spent ages umming and arrring and finally decided on these four, mind you one I bought for someone else.

This is my first favorite, I think its so unusual and stunning, and as you can see its already pinned to my duffel coat.

This is my second favourite and the first brooch to catch my eye. The photo doesn't do it justice its sooooooooooooo sparkly and pretty.

and then this one, which I think is simple yet elegant!

and finally this one. not sure if its a feather or leaf, but this ones for a friend even though I love it too.

Then we found a gorgeous antique shop with the most pretty china and glasses in, but I've already spent far too much money of late so I was good and only bought these two soup spoons and cake slice and a knife that we'll use as a butter knife, all 50p each.

My last buy, which was also from the flea market is the lovely organic comfrey and marigold hand cream which is made locally and is just lovely. My hands get really dry and cracked, and I've been on the lookout for some comfrey hand cream.
So after Lyndhurst we set off to Burley, where we had lunch in the pub and a scout around the shops. It was getting cold by then and the bad weather had set in so then off home.
Hubby has found some old shelves in his dads shed that he's going to use to make my peg rail :o). And forgot to say yesterday that the eiderdown has arrived its lovely, but doesn't appear to be old, but its in perfect condition. Will post some pics when its on the bed and I've hoovered and dusted our bedroom. xxxxx

Love the sparkly brooches, i've been looking round the charity shops for some but not had much luck yet. That's half the fun though, looking.

Lovely bag... I'm the same about new things but you've got to use them some time!!
The hand cream looks good... I have problems with dry skin on my hands... think it's 'cos it's so cold at work! I've tried most things but have yet to find something good, I'll keep an eye open for Comfry. I've got loads in the garden, maybe I'll make my own!! x
