Shopping and Thrifting.......

I had a day out shopping today in Petersfield which was good fun. My SIL and I, wanted to raid the charity shops, and raid them we did! My favourite buy of the day though was from Laura Ashley. Four gorgeous chair seat cushions which were £6.50 each. I was going to make some, but for that price and from Laura Ashley to boot, I decided to buy them.

I also found a lovely fabric shop, with the most drool worthy curtain fabric. In fact loads of stunning fabrics, but I was good and just bought what I needed. I got some lovely red gingham and some white linen fabric which will be made into a goose and four lemon buttons for my bunnies outfit.
I was on the lookout for Cath Kidston stuff in the charity shops and I did find one item. This Lavender and Geranium hand cream which smells delicious.

I also picked up quite a few items of clothing, two jumpers for Mr Pixie, a pretty top for mum and a few items for me, but when I tried my items on they looked awful so I'll be taking them back bar one top. The charity shop gives you 14 days to take things back, but I feel a bit guilty, so I'm sure I'll end up buying something else instead.
Finally, whilst in Laura Ashley, I picked up the new spring catalogue. So I'll leave you with some pics of my favourite pages to dribble over.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH

I'm so with you wishing for summer. I was sorting some photo's on the PC last night and came across some from last summer - I don't remember the sun shining for long, but it must have done! Ah well, at least it's Larkrise tonight....

Oh you found some fabulous goodies at the charity shops.

I've had a look at the LA catalogue online but must get up there to pick up a copy so I can thumb throughout with my cuppa.

I used to live in Petersfield about six years ago so can imagine all those charity shops you visited! I used to do a weekly trawl round them all.I didn't know there's a LA or a fabric shop there though - when did that happen? Hope you're enjoying the SCC too
