Bootsale Bargains......

Sorry I haven't been posting much of late. Life's a bit hectic at the moment, and I'm still trying to settle into a routine with my new job. I managed to pick these bits up at the boot sale on Sunday. At the top is a colclough tea set, its exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for, its so pretty with all the little pink roses over it, and its perfect for my tea party. The little tea set minus the sugar bowl cost £1. Then I spotted the sugar bowl on another stall for 50p, what are the chances!
Also got this pretty little flan dish with a blackberry pattern for 20p........
and lovely mason and cash mixing bowl, like brand new for £1. Was really chuffed with my little finds. Had to get diesel after the boot sale though, and that set me back £30, HOW MUCH!!!
I made this little heart yesterday and added a lavender essential oil to the stuffing. I thought it looked really pretty tied onto my enamel jug.

Oh wow! I am envious! I have a Colclough set, bought in bits and pieces over the years but I have never come across a sugar bowl!

*green*

You got some lovely things, I must get to a boot sale this year; they hold them just up the road; maybe I'll find my sugar bowl!

P.S - Know what you mean about the price of diesel - our car costs £80 to fill up!

Lovely finds, they're very pretty. Like the heart too, lavender is one of my favourites.

Lovely stuff, I've been coveting a Mason & Cash bowl for donkeys years, they are so cosy, if you see what I mean, very Farmhouse Kitchen, bet no one remembers that TV show - I'm such an old gimmer ;)

What lovely car boot sale finds and fancy finding the sugar bowl to match the tea set. You were obviously meant to have them :)

I also have a Mason & Cash mixing bowl that I found at a car boot years ago and has been in regular service ever since. Beats plastic any day!

Lovely car boot bargains. I have several mixing bowls (one lovely little one with a primrose yellow "inside") - never thought to look at the make . . . Scoots off to check in cupboards . . .
