I managed to pick up some bargains at work tonight. I got four loaves of bread which were reduced to 31p. Perfect for freezing, as part of our being frugal drive. I also got two large bunches of yellow tulips, reduced to 50p a bunch from £6.99 a bunch, and two Easter bouquets reduced from £4.99 each to 50p a bunch. Once my staff discount was deducted I got the whole lot for £2.81. What a bargain! I'm going to give two bunches of flowers to mum in law. I would love to get some for my mum, but can't get over there until the weekend.
I'm also sticking to my plan of not buying lots of books, popped into the Library today and borrowed "Celtic Wisdom" by Vivianne Crowley and "The real witches garden" by Kate West, I'll let you know if they're any good or not.

Hi, that is such a great idea !! I buy a lot of books myself and I have to stop that too, because it costs way to much. I will have to go to the library more often too !!
Great bargain on the flowers and bread !!
