EB and CK

Evening folks, I wanted to show you a couple of pics of things I've been making, but the light has been so bad today I can't get a good photo, so I'll try again tomorrow. Instead I thought I'd show you the lovely Emma Bridgewater tin I picked up when I went out with mum in the week. Not sure what I'll use it for yet, but it looks pretty on the shelf in the dining room.

Look what popped through the door on Saturday!! I get so excited when I see a CK catalogue in the post, lots of eye candy........so I sat down with a cuppa and drooled over the pages, here's a sneaky peek.

I may have to get a Stanley for the tree this year.

The house sewing box and union jack pin cushion will be on my Christmas list.

I'm loving the little Christmas tin house.

Cath's even introduced t-shirts this year. Not my cup of tea though, think they are a little tacky.

Well that's all for now folks. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with pics of what I've been making.

Been to Bosham......

Hello peeps. I had a lovely day yesterday in Bosham with my sister in law. Its a lovely picturesque village with a little harbour, but me being the doughnut I am forgot to take the camera. When I go back with hubby I will try and get some pics. Here's some bits I picked up. The top pic is some pretty stationery for all future blog swaps and staying in touch with new bloggy friends. I did get some more cards but can't show pics of them!
Picked up an Emma Bridgewater cake tin, for just £3.50, as it as a dent on the lid and is a little faded.

I was snapping this little beauty before I'd even taken the label off. I have a few of this range. Its dotty cockerel by Gisela Graham.

Some smelly bath melts! They do smell good. xxxxxx

and some pussy willow to put in with my dafs.

Hope you've all had a good weekend. Its sure been a gorgeous day today.
I hope everyone has managed to contact their swap partners for the Easter Springtime swap. If you haven't please let me know and I will see if I can chase them up.
Don't forget LRTC tonight. xxxx

Valentines Day Swap Parcel Arrives.....

Well what can I say.......when the door bell dinged this morning, I was beside myself with excitement, as it could only be one thing.......the valentine swap parcel from Mel Mel. I'm not sure if we were supposed to wait to open them, but I honestly don't think I could. I couldn't wait to rip the paper open. Mind you, look how prettily wrapped it is, its almost a shame to rip the paper.......
I gasped with joy when I saw what was inside. A beautiful Emma Bridgewater shopping bag. This will be most treasured, I love Emma Bridgewater stuff.
And inside the bag, an array of beautifully wrapped gifts. All with lovely messages and pink ribbon attached.

Isn't this heart stunning! I love it Mel.

and look at these little brooches which are destined to adorn my coat, along with the knitted flower brooch that Josie-Mary made me for the cosy night in swap.

And look, a Mrs Beeton book. I love baking, and this will come in very handy indeed. Watch this space for pics of all the goodies I will make.

Thanks Mel for this beautifully made heart and cath kidston bath melt. xxxx

And some lovely pink quality street to munch while admiring my pressies. A very big Thank you to Mel for my lovely Valentine Swap Parcel, it really made my day. xxxxx I'm still working on yours as Mel, I'm making you something special that I hope you will like.
Another big thank you goes to Thrifty Mrs for organising this swap, what a lovely idea. xxx
